My brother-in-law, the bug

So I had this dream that my ex-brother-in-law was a bug…
sort of a weird-looking spider, with an elongated, fat-sausage-shaped body, and only four legs… he was bright, primary red, and his legs were black. Looked like a cartoon.
We were trying to find him (he’d gone missing when he scuttled under a bed), and eventually we found him crawling like a little demon across a rug. He tried to hide in the corner, but we put a cup over top of him and caught him.
I don’t know what we did with him after that, but if we could control our dreams, we’d probably have squished him.
